Yvonne Featherstone took over management of Bullar Trees in July 2008, having owned and worked with dogs for many years, most recently in a luxury pet resort in Pennsylvania, USA.
We have 20 kennels and 7 cat homes. Each kennel has an individual covered run and each dog is given a minimum 15 minutes accompanied exercise, three times per day in our large, secure grassed yards. Dogs are catered for according to their requirements. We encourage exercise for all our guests, but recognise that dogs have different levels of energy and we will always allow each to mooch around the grassed area if that's what they want to do. Likewise, if your dog needs more exercise, we are happy to take them out five or six times daily, if necessary.
Bullar Tree Kennels and Cattery is licensed by The Forest of Dean District Council to board up to 14 cats and 40 dogs. We are fully insured for public and employers' liability and also provide veterinary cover, up to £300 for any conditions or injury arising during boarding or within 72 hours of departure.
Owners may provide their pets' own food, toys and bedding, if preferred. Most of our guests settle into their surroundings with little or no stress, but some may be comforted by familiar smells.
All pets must be fully vaccinated and we will need to see their certificates before allowing them into the premises.
We can be found in Upleadon, just two miles from the historic market town of Newent. Inspections welcome.

From 'The Cross' in Upleadon, head west on Tewkesbury Road towards Newent and look for us on the right.
Opening Times: We are open from 9am - 1pm and 4pm - 6pm daily.
However, if you wish to collect or deliver your pet outside these hours, please call and we'll be happy to oblige by prior arrangement only.
We prefer not to invite tours outside normal opening hours, so that we don't disturb the animals' rest times.
