We are a family run business, having a combined experience of over 60 years in dog ownership, care, grooming, boarding.
Our kennels are easily found just off the Ashby-Hathern road, with on-site car parking and turning area for vehicles. We are also 8 minutes drive from East Midlands airport.
The 24 kennels are a mix of singles and doubles, with lighted outside covered runs. From the kennel block it is a short walk to the fully fenced 1/4 acre exercise paddock where the dogs are exercised either on or off the lead in accordance with their owners requests. Our boarders are exercised 5 times a day, which helps ensure that they remain active during their stay and helps us to maintain the kennels clean and odour free, especially with the last walk being between 8-10pm.
During winter months we believe in heating the whole of the kennel block not just over the dog's sleeping area, this provides for a more comfortable and home like environment.
We prefer to accept dogs into the kennels on arrival day before 4.30pm, as this ensures they get used to us, the paddock and kennels before spending a night away from their owners. We charge on the day of arrival but not on collection day if pick-up is made before 10.30am
There is on-site grooming available for both boarding and non-boarding customers, this is run by our City & Guilds qualified niece, under her own business name of 'Grooming Marvellous'
A collection and delivery service is available for both boarding and grooming customers. All dogs are transported in purpose built cages fitted into the rear of our vehicles.
